CHARLESTON — A news conference has been scheduled for 1 p.m. today in Charleston for a multibillion-dollar economic development investment announcement.
The announcement will be held at the Charleston Marriott Hotel and include the chief executive officer of the unnamed investing company, Gov. Jim Justice, state Development Secretary Mitch Carmichael, U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin and other stakeholders, according to an advisory from Orion Strategies in Charleston.
Officials with the project will share the decision-making process in choosing the state, including impacts from recently passed federal and state legislation packages.
