The 2023 Global Employee Experience Study marks the third year of WorkForce Software’s primary research into the realities of deskless employee experience. As part of our methodology, we’ve surveyed both employees and managers to get a better picture on their perceptions of how employee experience is being delivered in their organizations. Our research focuses on important work experience aspects like job training, scheduling, recognition, communications, and feedback.
Our year-over-year results indicate a narrowing gap in perceptions, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that organizations are enhancing the experiences of their deskless workers. Instead, our findings show that employers have become aware that they were not providing the key experience aspects that are important to their employees. The results also demonstrate that employees’ demand for improved experiences is intensifying. Similarly, there’s a growing acknowledgment among employers of the pressing need for implementing enhancements.
