Glasgow School Superintendent Sonya Fuemmeler announced at the Glasgow Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, October 19, that she would be retiring effective June 30, 2023. Fuemmeler has been in education for thirty years with twenty-eight of those at Glasgow.
The district announced Stacy Kottman as the new superintendent effective July, 1 2023. Kottman has lived in Glasgow all of her life. She is a 2001 graduate of Glasgow High School. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Central Methodist University in 2004, Master’s Degree in Administration from William Woods in 2016 and her Specialist Degree in Educational Administration from Williams Woods in 2019.
