So, why should we aim for financial freedom?
The greatest advantages of financial freedom are that
1) You no longer have to keep changing time for money, so you can work whenever you want
2) You do not have to force yourself to work for money, so you can do what you want to do
3) You can spend time with your loved ones and enjoy the freedom to what you want to do
Let’s look at them one by one.
1) You no longer have to keep changing time for money, so you can work whenever you want
Working for a company basically means exchanging one’s own time for money. A person with a higher position will receive a higher salary, but it is still transaction of time for money at a slightly higher unit price.
However, after achieving financial freedom, there is no need to exchange time for money.
And I can do what I want to do, whether it’s a freelancer, a YouTuber, or a business, whenever I want.
2) You do not have to force yourself to work for money, so you can do what you want to do
Which comes to the second point. Most employees go to work reluctantly to make money for living. Inevitably, they endure various stresses such as work, fear of getting laid off and office politics, to name a few.
But once they achieve financial freedom, they no longer have to do things you don’t want to do. Because they don’t have to worry about money, they are less stressed, and they are much more likely to be happy because they can do what they want to do.
However, even if money is not an issue any more, you should clearly explore what you want to do, because achieving financial freedom does not simply mean that you will not be working for the rest of your life.

3) You can spend time with your loved ones and enjoy the freedom to what you want to do
This is the biggest reason I personally prepare for financial freedom early.
I still remember one story: An employee was promoted quickly in the company, and he had been successful in his career. However, because he had been too busy, he could not spent his time for the last moments of his parents before death. He said that it was a lifelong regret.
In order to spend more time with the people he loves in his life, he quit the company and achieved financial freedom.
No matter how good a company has a good work-life balance, there are often situations in which work has to come first. Because if I do not deliver work, then there will be colleagues and others who will have to bear consequences.
In other words, if you belong to a company, there is a high probability that you will not be able to spend time with your loved ones when you need them.
A blogger said that he started preparing for financial freedom on the first day he first went to work for at the age of 20, and now at the age of 30, he spends time looking after his children and visiting his parents without having to worry about money.
I want to live a life like that, so I started preparing in my late 20.
